User manager
Powerful, multilayered approach to permissions management
Webx HR has a comprehensive user management system. Users are assigned to a role, group and site. This in turn, limits the functionality available to the user, as well as limiting which profiles they are able to view.
Site staff are limited to viewing staff at their site and have restricted functionality so much that they can only update details, but all changes require approval from the compliance role.
Reports are aware of the group assigned to the staff member requesting the reports - and the dataset is limited by the group settings. Certain reports that contain more sensitive information can be configured so they're only available for a particular role, like an administrator.
Roles
Every staff member is assigned a role. The role management screen allows an administrator to stipulate what actions a user can perform, the branded template they can view, the terms and conditions that need to be signed when joining, invoice/payslip templates and so on. Assigned roles also determine what information a user can see as well as the information required when applying for a vacancy.
Groups
The group management screen allows administrators to define which set of profiles a member of the group can view. This can be individual profiles and profiles assigned to a site.
An example of a role is a Compliance role - where staff are able to view every profile within Webx HR and can approve and reject profile change requests. Alternatively, a particular group may be configured to be able to see only a single or a handful of sites.
